How do I sign up for E-dues?
-Go to AFGE.org from our Important Links page
-Log in/sign up for an account.
-Go to Profile and set up E dues to start on a date of your choice in about 2 pay periods.
-Verify that your email address is correct.
Next-
-Complete OPM Form 1188 to stop your Union Dues being deducted from your paycheck. See link on our Important Links page.
-Mail or email it to Local 3669.
-An AFGE 3669 Official will sign the form and submit it to the Payroll Office to stop the deductions. If you email it, it must be done from your personal email. DO NOT SEND from Government email addresses or computers.
Can I contact AFGE from my government email address?
Yes, you may contact the Union to request representation, ask questions or bring issues of concern to the attention of Union Representatives.
I am planning to retire soon, can I continue my AFGE membership?
Yes- you will now qualify for special Retiree Dues rates. Email us for more information.
If you are a subscriber to our Dental program, you may choose to continue or stop your plan in retirement. In either case, email our office for more information on what you will need to do before you retire.
